Programming Update: Teachers Teaching Teachers Live During Hour #2 of Earthcast 2010!

The Earthcast 2010 is excited to have the Teachers Teaching Teachers team from Edtechtalk contribute to the project this coming Thursday at 1:00 GMT (9 pm Eastern/6 pm Pacific in the USA on Wednesday, April 21). Paul Allison, Susan Ettenheim and company will be talking about school gardens.

This means that the Gator Radio Experience student broadcasts will be pushed back an hour to make room for TTT.

Earthcast 2010 Preview - 1:00-3:00 GMT with Youth Webcasters from California

Listen in live to the second and third hours of the Earthcast 2010 24 Hour webcastathon on April 22nd, 2010 as a group of youth webcasters from Castilleja School in Palo Alto, California, take the mic. The students will lead several interviews, including conversations with an employee from Salesforce.com on issues of corporate sustainability, a leading Silicon Valley clean tech venture capitalist, an employee from OPower, and an employee from Solar City. They will also feature a music segment near the bottom of each hour and they'll be highlighting some of the Earth Week activities that will be taking place at their school throughout the week. In preparation for Earthcast 2010, we'll be doing a series of blog posts that highlight the many wonderful sessions that will be taking place throughout this 24 Hour webcastathon regarding all-things-environment. This is the first of several preview posts that we'll publish in the days leading up to April 22nd, 2010.

They typically broadcast live from Maine, USA, but they will be traveling in Spain on Earth Day so they'll be joining in from Barcelona.
